The story
Missoula, Montana. 1995.
River is a free-spirited musician who has never been particularly interested in following the plan. Erica is an ambitious young TV reporter trying to figure out what her plan even is. When their paths cross, an unexpected connection pulls them into each other’s lives—and into a tight-knit group of friends who are still having way too much fun to admit they might finally be growing up.
Fueled by the music of the ’90s, The Last Hurrah is a romantic comedy about friendship, bad decisions, unexpected love, and those rare moments when life suddenly forces you to figure out what—and who—really matters.
Because sometimes the best things happen when the plan completely falls apart.
